Is It Really Impossible To Raise Kids In Small Living Space?

Raising children is hard, no matter where and when you do it, but it’s even harder when you have to or want to do it in a limited space. However, moving into a bigger space is not your only option, as there are many ways to make your limited space work for both you and your children.

Forget about what you supposed to doYou need to use your space creatively by using every single inch of it. You can do this by using collapsible or double-duty products, or making out space from available furniture, for instance, making a side of the wardrobe into a Velcro wall that can store things vertically.

However, sometimes it means you have to pass something you’re supposed to do or supposed to want for more usable space, like a coffee table or a bookshelf. Also, don’t be affected by someone else’s ideas about how things should be done, since this is your home and you are the one who living in it.

Only keep things you love or needThis is one of the hardest parts when we are talking about living in a limited space. You have to get rid of things, even things that you like but have no use of it. Nevertheless, if you do this properly, this will be your game changer, since, you may not realize now, but useless stuff does take really big spaces. So how to do this properly? First thing first, you have to list out things that you cannot live without. Remember to be objective, since it will be useless if you write down everything you have on this list. Secondly, decide what you going to do with those things. Selling or donation are 2 most popular choice, but you can just pass it to someone you know.

You will not own any spaceBut don’t worry, it’s not like you will not have your personal space, you just have to make it more justifiable. Since kids are very playful and running around a lot, your bedroom or bathroom is not going to be their restricted area. You just have to make some small change to that, by carefully store important stuff in a locked drawer, or tell them when you need your personal time. By this way, it’s not only help your family fit into space, but also teach your kids about their own personal space as well as respect others.
